NOMINATION FOR THE TROYER SCOUTING AWARD

NOTE: The nomination is confidential. To avoid possible disappointment, please do not advise nominee in any way of your action in his or her behalf. Scouting produces many great leaders and heroes. We lost one of those leaders a couple years ago from our community right here in the Tri-Cities. Gary Troyer was a big part of the Scouting community as well as many other volunteer organizations. We created an award for someone who exemplifies the Scout Oath and Law in Scouting as well as in the community and everyday life. They go above and beyond their volunteer title in all areas and have had a positive impact on Scouts, Scouters, and the public. They have made a large, positive, difference in the Council/District over many years, just like Gary. It is called the Troyer Scouting Award.

GENERAL INFORMATION The award is made available annually. It is not appropriate to nominate a Scouter who has already received this award. A professional Scouter or other council employee may not receive this award based on employment service. However, a professional Scouter or employee who also serves as a volunteer Scouter may be eligible, based on volunteer service.
